Not to rain on everyone's parade but am I the only one that thinks Sturridge wasn't magnificent yesterday like the world is saying. He should have scored the first goal and the 3rd, he missed a guilt edged one on one with the keeper and a couple of other presentable chances. Admittedly he was moving better and positioning himself better than of late. It can only bode well for the final and the start of the new season! Oh Danny boy the pipes are calling from glen to glen.

Sturridge is a man trying to hard to recapture the form he had before injuries.

Personally I feel that Sturridge fit is the 2nd best striker in the league behind aguero.

It was another game under sturridges belt and probably the longest injury free spell he's had in 2 years.
