Having watched all friendlies and our transfers I am concerned we, as a team have not improved, we may have shaved the wages bill down substantially but our team lacks depth and in fairness still quality from last season.
Have we bought anyone additional in, I.e. a new player not a replacement as mingolet, aspas et al are simply like for like replacements, albeit cheaper (fee and wage). We have made a profit in sales, where's the spend? Yes we are a business but surely profit not from sales but general income. And please don't start with VAT and fees nonsense, this isn't new nor exclusive solely to LFC.
Not exactly awe inspiring to be honest and not exactly the position we need to look at most but I'm sure he can do the short passes BR loves
Would love him at pool, lazy stereotyping but all the same true, Drogba mark II
Just to sing the song one more time I'd pay the wage myself
I find it hard to believe the 'we can't attract good players' line yet Swansea, Southampton even Norwich (no disrespect but come on!) can. I smell dithering nonsense that cursed our last season.
Could agree more, lest progressive season in terms of transfers, like really we have replaced over priced English players with bargain bucket Europeans, no progression, no depth and by all accounts a real lack of creativity bar 1 player in couts. I also have a real fear any new players will continue on the same vein, I hope I'm wrong but I'm not holding my breath.
