So I hope the club have enough in the budget to buy the world's largest Humble Pie!

Many of us will need some, admittedly I am due a large piece myself!

What a window!

Wirtz
Ekitike
Isak
Leoni
Frimpong
Kerkez
Mamardashvili (although technically done last year)
Some exciting youngsters

Let's enjoy this one and also REMEMBER IT as it may mean next windows are quieter, but who cares as we just brought in sooo much quality!

YNWA.

Hey everyone,

I don't post much but just wanted to say my bit I guess. for what it's worth.

I like a lot of us had the initial - for god's sake not again feeling last night and got incredibly frustrated, but then I realised something that I think we all need to take on board.

This is and never was going to be an overnight fix, and the mere fact we did not panic buy in January for makes this the most successful transfer window since signing Suarez.

Klopp has passion and the right attributes, but needs time to install his philosophies and get through to the players etc, as well as bringing on board his own players. I believe he will be given this time and it will work out, but we all just need to be patient, and channel our energy and frustrations into supporting the team - so they know we have their backs etc.

For me the best example of what I am trying to say is Spurs. For the last season or 2 they looked like they had really slipped, bought a load of dross after the Bale signing (they did buy some) and slipped by the wayside. Then they got Pochettino who at first did not seem to get it quite right (i. e. their results improved a bit but they still struggled and were not a major threat to anyone) . However now he has had time, and a close season to infill his training and philosophies look at how they are performing, and how strong they are as a unit.

I am not here to go on too much about Spurs, but more to use them as an example of what can happen to our team (and of course with Klopp I believe we will end up far stronger) if we all just give the club a bit more trust and patience.

This of course only applies to those fans who are already calling for heads to roll and slating all players each week - I know there are plenty of fans that know we need to be patient etc.

Over and out - rant over.

Are PGMOL or the premier league obliged to speak out on Slot's punishment for his red before our next game?

Just hope we avoid a situation where he is fine for wolves but then the ban is issued next week and he can't be in the dugout for Villa?

P. S. I'm not insinuating this would be on purpose, just curious if it could be a possibility?

I'm hoping they issue no ban based on the fact we have now been told it was mainly due to sarcastic comments around "great game", which is identical to what Pep did last season and wasn't even spoken to about it - wishfull thinking I know.

Seeing all the panic on Trent here which quite frankly is unbelievable and unacceptable. Fact is this sits on the club for not sorting sooner. If the guy wants to leave let him leave. Lots of others drop their performance or refuse to play to force a clubs hand but he hasn't even spoken about it.

For the minority of the fan base slating him and calling him names you should hang your heads in shame. Ironically I'm sure for most of you if another employer came along offering you a job in the sun and hugely inflated wages, you'd jump on it before they finished the offer.

Love Trent as a player and hope he stays, but I for one will thank him for all he's given us in his time here and wish him well. Quite frankly I'm more upset with the club than him as this cold have easily been avoided really. Yes we will move on and be fine but that's no reason to be so distasteful and disrespectful to a player who has given so much. Remember this is someone's life we are talking about, you can't get angry because his decision isn't what you want, he certainly doesn't care about decisions you make in life

Just my opinion and rant over.

Hoping not to open a can of worms here, but what are people's thoughts on signing Eric Dier of Spurs?

Seems to be a little out of favour under Ange (available), and can cover CB and CDM if called upon?

Just a thought, although not a name I have seen linked.

Right for me we shouldn't be looking for blame and slagging off every player that makes a wrong decision every game - that is not what a supporter does.

I thought it was a good game, and bottom line (in my opinion of course) :

We played well, were the better team
Created better chances
Lovren and Matip had a great game at the back
Mane outstanding

This is truly something to build on. If we play like that every week and consistently get sharper on shots etc we will have a good season.

For once I would like to see less negative critics, and just a simple well done lads, 100% effort put in and good display - proud of the desire shown.

As I say just my opinion but it's sad to see some just slagging players off instead of supporting the team.

Probably off the mark but was wondering if there was any chance that Klopp is maybe thinking about changing formation to 3-5-2 or a like based on this GW talk and the new defender coming in.

That could mean moreno and clyne as full backs, can, kendo and GW in the middle with Coutinho on the left, man on the right and sturridge up top with Firmino supporting?

Just thought I would through this potential theory out there in case anyone else found it interesting - I personally would at least be interested to see how perhaps a 3-5-2 could work, although fear it would expose likes of Moreno defensively even more!
