Wait, is this true?
Just read that Eric Ten Slaps has been sacked from Leverkusen after two games in charge.

Just found this online and it is killing me.
Official PGMOL statement regarding the officiating in last night's League Cup final btw Chelsea and Liverpool:
"We would have gotten away with it had it not been for those pesky kids".
Seriously, I'm finished.

Many Arsenal fans after the game at Anfield, "Wait till you come to The Emirates".
Same fans after the game tonight, "But, but, but. ".
These types of Arsenal fans can't be saved, at this point.

I have always rated Unai Emery as a manager and I wanted him to replace Rodgers (thank heavens, I don't run the club, lol) and I feel till this day that he got a raw deal and a very bad wrap at Arsenal esp. coming in right after the Arsenal fan base sent Arsene Wenger to early retirement.
Now he is killing it at Villa right after he rehabilitated his reputation at Villareal even tho, a lot of Arsenal fans try to put him down in fav. of Arteta who couldn't hold a candle to him. Now at the time, I always knew he would bounce back because I have always admired hiw ability since his Sevilla days.
Clearly, I was not alone:
"I'm always sad to see a manager gets sacked but emery is a fantastic coach. Arsenal just wasn't for him but he will find another club easily so No dramas Amigos. Take some time off and sooner than later you will over achieve with another club. That's my message to him "
Jose Mourinho after Emery got sacked. Jose knows his stuff.

There's something I have been thinking about a lot since we clinched the league vs Spurs and all the celebrations and release of joy and pure emotion that followed from that game all the way to the end of the parade.
After seeing all these scenes, I came to the conclusion that when the title was won in 19/ 20 and had we celebrated in the exact same manner, it would have granted us what we all know as "closure". As in, we would have put that 30 year title drought well and truly away in our memories had we celebrated it like we did this one in seasons to come, we don't have to look back and think we missed out on celebrating such an occasion.
Which (and this is my main point) would have stood us in good stead to fully attack the next season with a fresh mind without having to look back at what might have been had we celebrated that momentous occasion. Hence IMO, this lack of "closure" literally haunted us in the seasons to come where we got close (really close in that Quad season, for sure) close to winning it again and fell short due to multiple circumstances.
So in essence, that lockdown season did not only screw us in that moment as it did not allow us to celebrate it as a family which would have brought said closure, it screwed that Klopp team (emotionally and mentally) after 19/ 20 season and may have contributed. It is only now do I realise that we may have been looking in the rare view mirror looking at the celebration we missed out on throughout those seasons we come close after 19/ 20. Really unlucky, IMO. Now the great thing is that we NEVER stopped believing we could win the title again. Not in the slightest. Klopp, Slot, our legends and the fans always believed it would be our year during those years that followed 19/ 20. And we got our just rewards in the end.
So my fellow reads, I guess my message is that with the way we celebrated no. 20 and continue to do so (just got my LFC Champions merch, btw), I hope it provides us all the closure I think we need. Where we can at long last put all the memories of such incredible scenes of celebrations and pure joy, store them in our hearts and minds for decades to come, all while we prepare with a fresh mind, heart and soul with the focus, desire and determination to propel our boys towards going potentially back to back next season and (who know? ) more.
YNWA!

Here's a statement I found online regarding the shifting of the goal posts by rival fans and media critics regarding our season so far. I will paraphrase, here.
So in previous years including last season and now this season with Slot, "Doesn't matter where they are in the league man United vs Liverpool is the biggest game, Old Trafford is the biggest test for Liverpool when they go there the whole stadium lifts".
After Slot schooled Utd and Ten Slaps at The Toilet this year, what do we hear? "Well, you've only played a poor man United team".
Wait, it gets literally worse. Before this season, "Who would want the Liverpool job? It's a poisoned chalice. Look at when Fergie left and Wenger left. Nobody wants to take it on after a legend of the club departs".
And after the season kicks off with Slot in charge? "Well, Slot inherited a great squad full of world class players. Any one would love to inherit a squad like that. Jurgen has made it so much easier for Slot".
And for their next trick? "Oh, LFC can't be having a great start to the season because they haven't played tougher teams". Now this last bit is coming from the same critics and rival fans who love to big up the notion that there are no easy games in the PL with one side of their mouth and directly with the other side, they say "insert club we don't like" has had an "easy" start to the season hence, why they are doing well at the top.
So there you have it, folks. Now trying to make all this gunk make sense? Don't waste your precious time because you are dealing with haters and gaslighters, mates. My advice to our fans getting caught up in this nonsensical exercise of twisting oneself into a pretzel just to avoid saying they were wrong about our club, is just try to ignore the white noise and enjoy each game we play and hope we play and compete well enuff to win regardless of who we play.
Top of the league and i'm loving every bit of it.

Just saw a stat that Mac10 is the first LFC player to score or assist in 6 consecutive games in all comps. since you guessed it, Steven Gerrard.
Now I have said on multiple occasions, I would have paid 80m for him thru out the season because he was that good at Brighton. I hereby, change my mind.
Now, I would have paid 100m for him if I knew he would be anywhere near this good. Why? There is NOTHING that guy can't do. He is a true modern midfielder, IMO. Bravo, sir!

Just saw a brilliant stat about Darwin. Darwin has scored 7 goals away from home in the PL this season.
He has opened the scoring 4 times and scored 3 stoppage time and of those stoppage time goals, 2 have been stoppage time winners. Not to forget the game winner at B'mouth in the Carabao Cup.
Yeah, opposing fans. Keep calling our Darwizzy "a s*** Andy Carroll" and let's see how that works out for you.

Okay guys, so I learned a new one today called "Field Tilt". Hear me out.
According to a few Arsenal fans in the first half of the FA Cup game when it was goaless, went on the Tw@tter and said even tho the game was goaless, Arsenal were better based on Field Tilt.
Now can anyone tell me what this schtick means because I have no idea what it is?
Thanks, guys.

I can understand your cynicism BUT I don't think this will be swept under the rug. The PL based on the charges, seem determined to bust City and make an example of them. It took them 4 years to get here hence, 4 years to cross their i's and cross their t's to make sure of the 100 charges, several of them will stick. That is prosecutorial discretion 101. We shall see what happens.
As for saying glass houses should not throw stones regarding Liverpool, sorry BUT this is simple. Do the right thing, keep your nose clean and you'll be grand. And so far, that has been the case with us and long may that continue.
