Arsenal won't drop points, they're so much more convincing than we are.

The way the posts were reading after the first half you'd have thought that Arsenal were bossing the game and we were hanging on by the skin of our teeth. Maybe consider that Arsenal were denying us the spaces we wanted to play in, especially through the center?
It's not as though Arsenal were finding it easy going creating against us, either, most of their attacking player was isolating Kerkez with Madueke, and I think Kerkez dealt with that situation so well that I'd be inclined to give him the MotM if not for Szoboszlai's goal and overall performance.
We did what we had to do, we defended every one of their set pieces well, which was the very first and most crucial item on the agenda, we won duels on the ground and on the air when we needed to, our full backs were brilliant throughout, Konate gave a reminder that he can actually play, Grav got us up the field reliably, Virgil was immense.
We haven't seen the flying full back getting to the byline side of Kerkez yet, and I understand why he has had to be more conservative with Szoboszlai on the opposite flank, but he was brilliant on the other side of the ball today, won a few headers, too.
It was a high level game between footballers at an elite physical and technical level, felt like a European game to be honest, where chances would be few and far between. There were moments when our execution let us down at the last second with Wirtz or Mo. More often than not I think that they will deliver, though, so I don't think there's much to worry about.

Early days but Kerkez was suspect positionally/ very rash on the left and Frimpong was physically manhandled on the right, I'm sure Kerkez will grow into things and we'll find a way to protect Frimpong better but those deficiencies were patent today.
Flo wasn't able to get into the game much and had a below average game by his standards but off the ball he was actually quite excellent, for the second game in a row he should have buried a chance that I've seen him score countless times in the Bundesliga. Ekitike was absolutely outstanding on both sides of the ball, besides the header that he should have put away.
As for Mo, what can you say about him- that sprint in the final minute of the game, and then a trademark goal. He is one of the fittest players I have ever seen in body and mind, always prepared to pounce, even when he looks off his game.
And take a bow Fede, that was an excellent finish.
