What a job Arne Slot is doing by the way!
Hardly any new signings in his first window and led the team in a procession to the league title.
Then this season he has had to integrate loads of new signings, he’s lost a key home grown player and he’s had to focus and motivate the team who are grieving over the tragic loss of their teammate (RIP Diogo) .
We are the only team with 3 wins going into the international break. We have scored in our last 37 league games.
I think he’s been an amazing manager, more amazing days to come with him.

I’ve got Salah (c), Wirtz and Ekitike in my fantasy football team.
However, I also have Isak.
If we sign him, I’m only allowed 3 Liverpool players so who do I drop from my squad?
Ekitike? Isak? Or Wirtz? I don’t think I can drop Salah.

Let’s send a lot of praise the way of Darwin Nunez. ?
He’s probably off in the summer.
He’s always got rough treatment by pundits and press.
He’s a cult hero to some and a weak link to others.
He’s missed a sitter against Villa and then taken abuse from everywhere and criticism from the manager.
But still, he comes on as a sub, throws himself about in a game we’ve been pummelled in. He battled for the ball and laid of a beautifully timed ball for Elliott.
And still - that lad celebrated harder than any other player when the ball hit the net.
I wish you could bottle his determination, his enthusiasm and his team spirit because it’s almost unmatched in this day and age.,
I hope that performance gets him a great transfer and a good wage.
He’s not the greatest, but you can’t help but love him. ??.

We should get Teun Koopmeiners. I have a very good feeling about him from what I have seen. I strongly believe that he will be a success at Liverpool if we sign him.

With the title race officially over, second place almost impossible and 3rd place assured, I hope Klopp takes the opportunity to play the youngsters.

Here's my transfer round-up
I'd guess 5 players to be signed plus the 2 already coming.
A new keeper
a marquee player
a captain/ leader/ penalty taker
a set-piece taker
and an organiser.
We'll sell a load of bottlers, deadwood, sicknotes and very poor players.

I'd like to see Lucas given a decent chance there but I have reservations about whether it's a good long term strategy.
Comparing Mascherano at Barcelona to Lucas at Liverpool is like comparing apples and elephants. Spanish teams are not at the same level as the premier league and they don't really get at Barcelona for fear of reprisal. Also La Liga does not have the same physical challenge of the premier league. It took De Gea time to adapt to all the high balls into the box.
Happy to be proven wrong, but I can only see it as a short term fix.
