its for the best. I think.I might review this if we finish 7th! gerrard will be gutted. but the way I see it we don't need (and can't attract) a player of his talent now, but someone you can finish, with good movement. they create plenty of chances. and let's face it, even with his goals we finished what 7th? and we don't have huge amounts to spend. we need a stronger overall squad. 50 million, if re-invested would go some way towards that.
besides that, I never liked him so it won't hurt if /when he goes. I said it as soon as we bought him. anyone capable of biting another player is capable of anything and will re-offend. please don't give me this 'oh that's just the south american street player thing' . doesn't hold water.
football has changed, but Liverpool should still have a bit of class, they've managed mostly to have that, personified by their managers and players. not many nasty characters spring to mind. the club, the fans have shown respect and class, its the character of the club. with the exception of souness (who was more of a gobrubbish) all the managers, even hodgson '(maybe), were gentlemen. doesn't win you anything, but if football was just about winning I wouldn't be bothered at all. I said it before but winning the 19th title with mourinho wouldn't mean anything to me. anyway suarez has zero class, so good riddance .

Could agree more, lest progressive season in terms of transfers, like really we have replaced over priced English players with bargain bucket Europeans, no progression, no depth and by all accounts a real lack of creativity bar 1 player in couts. I also have a real fear any new players will continue on the same vein, I hope I'm wrong but I'm not holding my breath.

I find it hard to believe the 'we can't attract good players' line yet Swansea, Southampton even Norwich (no disrespect but come on!) can. I smell dithering nonsense that cursed our last season.
