It's the way of the world couts will want Barca. Vvd wants Liverpool that's the way it is . it works at all levels. the bigger clubs get who they want. vvd was tapped up to get ahead of chelsea and city not to mess Southampton about, he will be leaving anyway.

If you don't think vvd was going to leave anyway:

Southampton is a small club who most certainly bully the ones below them like we bully them and like we will get bullied by Barcelona.

Vvd had interest from city before us. So if klopp hadn't of released the damning soul destroying information in April, then he would of been at city by now.

Southampton are just playing the game and trying to take every penny they can get. Smart.

I really couldn't care less how we get keita and vvd because I know we won't be losing coutinho to innocent circumstances. :)

I want to react to the rumours that Coutinho might leave. We are all aware that Neymar has been publicly and privately tapping up Coutinho, but with Neymar supposedly considering a move to psg (not that it might happen) don't you think Cout has given him the final No to Barcelona and I don't think Couts will leave Liverpool for PSG. let that sink in.

At the moment I'm satisfied with our summer additions and I'd be happier with one or two more first team very quality additions but we are top four candidates with this squad I believe.

£75 million take it or leave it offer going in for Keita according to the media.

Interesting one the much questioned link to the Ox, apparently Chelsea have gone in for him!

There's no conspiracy theory:

Torres - won't be sold
Suarez - won't be sold
Sterling - won't be sold
Phil - won't be sold.

There's a pattern, hard evidence, no conspiracy. The transfer policy isn't a conspiracy, it's regulated and it doesn't give the manager the final say. The main stand investment yields 16% whilst Bank of England base is at 0.5%. They shunned Annie road scheme because 10% not good enough. Away tickets and chunks of home tickets going to Thomas Cook. Some people been buying tickets for 43 years but missed out on the last sale because FSG want to change the fan profile to service the hotel investment. This isn't a conspiracy theory, me and Waro called this from day 1.

You and Waro called it wrong from day 1. If it is so called 'evidence' that you are looking for, look at how much money they have pumped into the club for starters. We have a good manager that most supporters would have given their right arm for, and are trying to buy 2 very good and very expensive players, having already bought Salah.

You are like those guys in The Life of Brian - 'What have the Romans ever done for us'! Just admit that you were wrong then and that you are still wrong, and save us from reading any more made up nonsense.

{Ed042's Note - Franly mate, it's really no use explaining to these two. It has been clear from day one that these two have a propaganda against the owners of the club just because of their nationalities and have often resorted to racist comments in the past. Whatever goodwill FSG have done for the club have constantly been overshadowed by tripe like this. Hedge Funds and what not. }

I expect us to make the next move. £50 mill I see will get this singing over the line. He is a very vey good player and would make our back line a very stable and compact one!

Both VVD and Keita are training alone. It's a matter of days now!

FSG cannot sell Coutinho. They failed with a similar experiment earlier and it will send out a clear message that they aren't backing the manager.
Can you imagine the backlash they will receive from the fans if they sell Coutinho?

Think Coutinho will stay. The little man also said this not long ago (May).
