Mourinho has every right to play to shut down games, prevent the opposition from winning, and leave with a point. He's been doing it for the big away games his whole career and at the end of the season they're often valuable points.

However, i think its very sad for united fans, for us, and for football fans everywhere that he considers this game to be just another away game against a tough opponent.

Liverpool Man United. My favourite game of the year. Means so much to all the fans to get the feel good factor of winning, even scoring, and he's taken that away from both sets.

Only one 0-0 in the premier league before this. Get used to it over the next few years though.

Not as good a result for Arsenal as it was for us last season, don't forget they were top of the league when we did that to them and today they beat a team no longer in the top 4 and barely in the running for it.
Just shows even further how far off the pace we have dropped.

I still think that's explainable by selling a player like Suarez and no matter how much you spend you can't replace somebody like that.

We have some good players but i agree Rodgers needs to switch the system up again because he's been found out now. Credit to him for finding a system that surprised our opponents. But he should take from that that mixing it up was a success, not necessarily the system itself, why not try and change again so teams don't go into games knowing what we'll do.

Very bad day for us.

{Ed044's Note - Rodgers unfortunately is proving adept at finding a system that works, and then slower than the rest of the nation at knowing when to change. He had the answer when he switched in the second half against Swansea. He just didn't see it.}

What's the point in abusing returning players? It doesn't achieve anything to help our team, when you should be focusing on cheering the players who are still wearing the red shirt.

Booing Suarez would just show how much you miss him and therefore make him think he was right to move. and it's hardly going to throw him off his game - don't forget he has been booed in every other English stadium he's ever played in.

Wouldn't it confuse him if nobody made a sound though.
