What would everyone want to be the team for Thursday? Field a strong tewm from start and go fot the kill and sub them at ht or play a weak team and set up on counter

1.) I think finishing 3rd or 4th is our best option for champions league so we should prioritise that. Could still beat Besiktas as they have a lot of injuries but I'd rest Couts, Studge, Raheem, Ibe, Can and Hendo with Man City as the priority.

What would everyone's ideal summer Window be ( I know it's far off but its all very quiet on here).
Remember no galactico buys and very little budget with emphasis on selling to buy.
P.S how's everyone doing in fantasy football
{Ed044's Note - Gk maybe. Beyond that, I'd like to see a bit of ruthlessness in terms of 'squad' players. Let's get back to a serious squad of fifteen or so, and look to youth to provide cover when cup games stack up. I'm not slagging players off (I hate that), but if star player x is injured, or needs a rest for a midweek cup game, I would rather watch a promising teenager blooded, than see a 'never quite gonna be class' squad player playing. our strike force is a little skewed at the minute for instance....
My fantasy football team is neglected currently...}
1.) The obvious players out to raise funds, then quality gk after that scherneiderlin " sorry spelling" him with hendo cann and sometimes rossiter would be very strong. Think sterling and ogri could back up sturridge, already got enough good wide players.would like to see ilori given a chance.

2.) GK- Mathew Ryan (would cost around 5-7 million GBP)
ST- Ings (because he looks the most likely). Personal preference for Lacazette or Dybala but too expensive
CM- Schneiderlin (cost around 20-25 million GBP)
3 players for a combined cost of around 40 million GBP which will mostly be funded by selling Balo, Borini, Aspas, Alberto, Enrique, Allen, paez, Lambert and unfortunately Teixiera. Kolo, Johnson and Gerrard leaving will also lighten the wage bill s that is another plus.
3.) Exactly the same as you Cauli kid.
I think we only need Schniderlin if Lucas leaves tho. He is an excellent player ðŸ˜
As for fantasy footie, I'm top half of second page
4.) Lot of deadwood to get rid of in the squad, that has to be a priority I think. The Aussie gk, Ings and possibly a DM if Lucas goes in terms of bringing people in - that's it :)
{Ed042's Note - I'd probably look for a striker (Ings) and Ryan. I'd also look for a midfielder as lucas will probably leave Schneiiderlein I think will be beyond our reach so I'd go for Gundogan (Especially if Dortmund are relegated)
5.) I'd look at Alex Song or Lars Bender
{Ed044's Note - schneiderlin is the best fit for me. Still, I would just rather Lucas stayed....}

Saw a report somewhere man City were offering 60 million pounds for sterling
now its obviously bs but if Madrid were to offer that kind if money would anyone take it? I would personally
sterling is too inconsistent for me and I would sell him if the money were to be well spent
we can probably just replace him with ibe and buy a good dm and gk ( Kramer and lacazatte or bender and dymbala
1.) Nope. He can improve exponentially I think. I doubt we would sell him unless we need the money ....
2.) Would anyone trust BR and the transfer committee to reinvest the money wisely? I shudder to think....

That said, play both Lambert and Balotelli from the start, get Can in, Toure in, Lovren out, and Get Johnson a place in a quaint little retirement home on the south coast.
Balotelli and Lambert is not a forward line full of movement, I know, but hey, it wasn't me who forgot to replace Suarez in the summer...
1.) I think a front 3 of markovic balotelli and Sterling with lallana behind them would be our best but it's never going to happen. Both our captain and vice captain need a break.
Gerrard because he's just not been good enough. Useless the last few games.
Henderson because he's not the same as last year. Granted, out of position, but I think this vice captain role has made him a little lazier.

Mignolet manquillo sakho lovren Moreno Lucas coutinho lallana markovic balotelli and Sterling.
Once again, would never happen, but I'd like to see it. It seems top heavy, but all these players like to roam from up top and contribute defensively as well. Even balotelli is good for set pieces.
I genuinely fear for our great club guys.
{Ed044's Note - Attacking line up Tj. Lovren still bothers me (but so does Skrtel) and Toure deserves his place above these two.}
2.) With everyone fit, obviously Sturridge in for coutinho. Let Sterling play centrally then and lallana and markovic on the wings.

I think there are really too many players though, as where does Gerrard, Coutinho and Can fit in, althouth I think Coutinho is a come on player in the second half!

6.) Possibly Ed and I was umming and ahhing about including Balotelli in the side, but some forget how he played against Spurs, did everything but score! I think it would also depend on who we were playing as to whether Can took Lucas' place either.
{Ed042's Note - the question was keeping in mind injuries that is why no Flanno
with a full squad I will be skeptical about keeping balotelli rather try borini or markovic
